In this webinar, we present case studies where the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) did not uphold the legal requirement of testing chemical substances on animals only as a “last resort”, as highlighted in our recently published, peer-reviewed paper.
We discuss the over-arching issues that contribute to this, and provide recommendations to enhance the governance and enforcement of the legal requirement established in the EU REACH regulation.
